Neil started this company after seeing a gap in the industry for contractors who show up on time, do what they say they’ll do, and treat every property with respect. July 2020
Gutter Cleaning NWA
Neil founded the company on July 15, 2020 as a solo gutter cleaning professional, under the name Gutter Cleaning NWA. Gutter cleaning was the whole business at first. Repairs, pressure washing and gutter guard installation followed.
Fall 2020
The first hire
Over the late summer and early fall of 2020, Neil went from solo cleanings to hiring Luiz, who joined in September and has stayed through every phase of the company's growth since.
March 2021
Toph arrives, and the name changes
Neil and Hannah invested in a 5" KWM Ironman seamless gutter machine and named it Toph. The company became Chappell Seamless Gutter, took its first commercial space, and ran two trucks across Bella Vista, Rogers, Bentonville, Springdale and Fayetteville. By the end of the year fascia and soffit repair were on the menu, so homeowners could handle every repair that comes before a new gutter through one contractor.
2023
Chappell Gutter & Exterior
A new name to match a wider view of exterior work: gutters, fascia, soffit, siding and the drains underneath them.
Memorial Day 2024
After the Rogers tornadoes
The tornadoes that struck Rogers over Memorial Day weekend created a surge in demand for exterior repair work. Neil answered it by putting together a crew focused on gutter and exterior service, with thorough training first.
August 2024
The Athens Ave shop
Neil and Hannah secured the commercial warehouse at 1086 Athens Ave Suite J in Springdale, where the trucks, the machine and the crew still work out of today.
2025
The team fills in
Gabrielle joined as operations manager in January and tightened up how the company runs. Luiz now leads the larger remodel projects, DJ manages recurring and repair work, and Neil keeps working to give the crew the tools to make Northwest Arkansas a leading area for top-tier gutter systems.
